Description
The design of this Banarasi viscose saree balances geometric layouts with traditional architecture. The body features a clean pattern of parallel, horizontal self-weave bands. Placed symmetrically between these bands are small, intricate metallic zari butis shaped like miniature floral bouquets. This minimalist body layout contrasts with a heavy, prominent lower border. The border is designed around a series of recurring Mughal arches (mihrabs) enclosing vertical climbing vines, while the surrounding space is filled with dense floral foliage. The entire border layout is neatly enclosed by diagonal chevron tracks and a crisp row of tiny temple-tooth motifs, finished with a sleek contrast piping edge.
