Description
This Banarasi viscose saree balances geometric structure with heritage floral weaving. The main body showcases tiny, meticulously woven metallic butis shaped like delicate flower sprigs scattered evenly across a plain, smooth fabric base. This understated layout is framed by a medium-width border woven with a continuous, fine square check network, lined along the inner edge with a sharp row of tiny temple-tooth motifs. The highlight is the elaborate pallu, which features large, stylized bouquets of long-stemmed blossoms rising upward from a structured, grid-patterned field. Moving inward, the pallu is decorated with multiple parallel horizontal zari bands, each carrying an intricate repeating pattern of diamond-shaped floral crests. The entire layout is cleanly finished with a matching silk piping edge along the selvedge and soft, hand-knotted tassels along the hem.
