Description

Crafted in a premium viscose paper silk weave, the Maharani Patola saree relies on a striking contrast between large-scale organic motifs and tight geometric framing. The body of the saree showcases an artistic layout featuring large, diagonally climbing vine and branch patterns. These branches carry oversized, detailed multi-petaled flowers and distinctive textured leaves. To add depth to the woven design, a select few floral elements and leaves feature subtle, contrasting thread fills within their centers.The border and pallu introduce a structured, linear counter-balance to the flowing lines of the body. The borders are woven with an all-over chevron or zigzag pattern, creating a metallic frame that separates the body from the edges. The centerpiece pallu is designed with a dense field of fine, parallel diagonal stripes that cover the entire block, neatly enclosed by the same matching chevron borders on all sides.
